Can I install a HYGINA smart toilet by myself?

Some homeowners may be able to complete the installation, but professional installation is recommended if plumbing, electrical work, lifting, alignment, or internal reconnection is required.

What should I check before installation?

Before installation, confirm the rough-in distance, floor drain position, available side clearance, nearby 110V / 60Hz GFCI outlet, and water inlet angle valve location.

What if my actual unit or accessories look slightly different from the images?

Minor hardware, accessory, or internal layout differences may occur due to production updates. Always follow the delivered product configuration and contact HYGINA Support if anything is unclear before continuing installation.

Do I need to test the functions after installation?

Yes. After installation, turn on the water supply and power, then test flushing, washing, drying, heated seat, remote control, side knob, foot sensor, and any model-specific functions before daily use.

U5 Ultra Installation Guide

Follow the step-by-step process below to install your U5 Ultra smart toilet. Because the U5 Ultra includes premium components such as a built-in tank system and additional internal connections, please complete each reconnection carefully before sealing the base.

Detailed U5 Ultra Installation Steps

Step 1 — Site Preparation

  • Confirm the installation environment, rough-in distance, drain position, and available space.
  • Place the flange ring over the drain opening and mark the screw positions.
  • Drill the screw holes according to the marked positions.
  • Insert the screws and prepare the base for flange installation.

Step 2 — Flange & Base Setup

  • Install and secure the flange ring.
  • Install the two long positioning screws.
  • Remove the seat screws as instructed.
  • Carefully lift the lid assembly and remove or disconnect the required tank, pipe, and wire components according to the delivered product configuration.

Step 3 — Positioning the Toilet

  • Carefully turn the bowl as needed and confirm the flange ring position.
  • Apply sealant to the bottom contact area as required.
  • Move the toilet into position with two-person handling.
  • Align the base with the long screws and lower the toilet into place.

Step 4 — Reconnection, Sealing & Testing

  • Reinstall the seat and reconnect all required internal parts.
  • Secure the seat screws and fixing cover.
  • Reconnect the tank pipe and white small pipe to the angle valve according to the delivered product configuration.
  • Apply sealant around the base after alignment is confirmed.
  • Turn on water and power, then test flushing, washing, drying, lid operation, remote control, app control, and other U5 Ultra functions.

U5 Ultra Connection Notes

For the U5 Ultra, additional internal parts such as the built-in tank components, pipes, and wiring may need to be removed or reconnected during installation. Complete all reconnections carefully and confirm normal operation before sealing the base.

  • Align the base with the long screws and lower the toilet into place.
